Types Of Cellulite

Losing Cellulite With Cellulite Surgery

Finding a cellulite eraser is an uphill task. There are 2 types of cellulite. Commonly found in the thigh and buttock areas, the first type of cellulite is from any "pinch" or "compression" of tissue. Women of all ages can have this type of cellulite that is thought to be the compression of fat cell chambers. The second type of cellulite has the "orange peel" appearance that is visible when a woman is in her natural stance giving rise to common cellulite thighs.

Cellulite Occurs Even In the Slimmest Woman

Because cellulite is formed by changes in skin structure and not by obesity, even very slim women can have cellulite. But overweight or obese women will have more pronounced cellulite development. Women who have more muscle and less fat tend to have cellulite that is less visible. But many women seek cellulite help, often in the form of cellulite surgery.

Cellulite Gets Worse With Age

The skin has a limited amount of elasticity and the dermis reaches its limit at around 30 years. Additionally, aging depletes the dermis of collagen elastic fibres causing the connective tissue to get looser. This allows more fat cells to protrude into the dermis area making cellulite more apparent. This condition is made worse by a sedentary lifestyle and an unhealthy diet making it harder for women in their losing cellulite task.
